Jekyll Island lies off the coast a little bit from Brunswick, Georgia. A century ago, the Rockefellers and the Morgans and those folks had turned this island into their southern Hamptons, where they spent the winters.
And enjoyed sunsets like this.
And lots and lots and lots of fresh shrimp and crab and fish.
And warmer weather than anybody was having up north.
Well, they're gone. But the seafood and the weather remains.
And is certainly worth the trip.
