Evensong

With the end of the day, twilight settles in, and the light of day disappears into a luminescent glow. We slow down. Our pace lessens. Our metabolisms listen to their ancient hymns of rest.

And as the light dims further, and the stars and moon begin to glow, we look up and wonder at the stars, and the blue velvet heavens, and are satisfied.
